Economic Partnership Agreement: MINFI Sets The Customs Duty Dismantling Rate.

The dismantling of custom duties concerns goods eligible to the preferential commercial regime of the Economic Partnership Agreement known in the french acronym as "Accord de partenariat économique" (APE) that links Cameroon to the European union and on another side to Great Britain.According to the communiquer of MINFI the rate are sets as follows : 100% for goods of Iron group,100% for goods of 2nd groups and 50% for the goods of the 3rd groups .On the other hand, a working committee known as Monitoring Units Ape is charge to put at the disposition of the public, the necessary information in relation with APE .This working committee is set to creat links between the services and users in terms of concertation , and request traitement .According to the communiquer the lists of the said goods in which the rate of custom duties dismantling are sets are available on the website of the Ministry of Finance and that of the General Direction of the Cameroon's custom that comprises goods like transport vehicles, industrial electronic machines, metals,first aid health equipment, chemical product.
