The amount allocated has been implanted in various sectors of: health, Agriculture and entrepreneurship.In detail,Cfa 10billion has been deducted from the total amount to be distributed to health institutions in the town of Bertoua,to permit the actors of the sector to fight and reduce the level of infant and maternal mortality in the region . Given that the East region welcomes at least 1million refugees from neighbouring countries the number of young girls and women have increase in the region therefore there is an urgent need to communicate on methods to fight and avoid this situation.At the Regional level for the promotion of health of the East worth 250million has been donated by the German cooperation , the amount has served to the installation of a mini laboratory for the control of drugs and vaccins,the acquisition of 2 cars all terrain easing rapid movement and distribution of drug in the region and localities surrounding,the amount allocated has also permit the region to benefit from logistical support for the setting up of a computer system for the management of stocks og drugs and vaccines.Still in the domain of health another cfa 130 million was set for the fight against Covid -19 in the East region for   a period of 2 years.The Cameroon --German Cooperation has benefited population in the locality of Batouri,Kadey Division,permitting up to 3000thousand women in the locality to recieve subventions for the production, transformation of cassava. Its thanks to this cooperation among both countries that gave birth to the creation of micro finance to enable women in the locality to better manage their income,hence fighting against poverty in the locality.Since 2014 the cooperation between Cameroon and Germany has been very fruitful with multiform support in the East region notably the collaboration with decentralised local authorities working hand in hand to improve the living condition of the population. Still within the frame work of this cooperation, Cfa 6.6m has been invested in program called " Cash for work" that grouped within it women with a disability and refugees that allows the beneficiary to have income by assisting in community interest activities to feed up their families and the population.Thanks to the Cameroon-German cooperation millions of Cameroonians in the East region are living in favourable condition out of poverty.
