The Central African financial market surveillance commission is organizing the 2024 Cemac International Investor Week .An initiative of the International organization of securities commissions to promote financial education to the general public.It will take place simultaneously in Yaounde, Brazzaville and Bangui.This year's event under the theme " Technology and Digital Finance will bring together investors , entrepreneurs and economic leaders to discuss investment opportunities in the Cemac region and will focus on key themes such as Fraud prevention , digital finance , sustainable finance and investor resilience . According to the President of the Central African financial market surveillance commission, Jacqueline Adiaba Nkembé , the Cemac International Investor Week aims to promote key messages that strengthen the financial culture of investors , in order to better protect investments and provide learning opportunities for investors . Inline with its 2024-2028 strategic plan, the African financial market surveillance commission, has made financial education its top priority, recognizing it as a crucial lever to energize and develop the regional financial market.
