UBIAFCOOP : Promote Local Transformation.
Dernière mise à jours il y'a 4 moisThe just -ended 8th edition of the Cameroon's International Crafts Fair known as the Salon International de L'artisanat du Cameroun saw the exhibition of more than 1000 thousands participants nation wide at the Yaounde National Museum.

Present amongst the participants was the Upper Banyang Integrated Agricultural Farmers Cooperative (UBIAFCOOP), a cooperative base in Tinto -Mamfe -Manyo Division specialised in the transformation of Cocoa to different products. According to Madame Tabot Helen Production Manager of UBIAFCOOP " Her primary objective for this 8th edition was aimed at sharing, gaining knowledge from other partners dealing with the transformation of Cocoa,put ahead their products and to demonstrate the savoir-faire of the South-West Region ". UBIAFCOOP is specialised in the transformation of homebase cocoa into consumables products such as chocolate, cocoa butter, herbal tea which are very good for health at all ages which according to Mdm Tabot Helen " the use of natural products are good for consumption and UBIAFCOOP mission is to encourage Cameroonians nationwide the habits of consuming products Made out with less or non chemicals which at a long-term becomes dangerous for our health ". UBIAFCOOP, joins the government vision to promote the policy of import-substitution that aims at reducing the huge amount of money spends on the importation of goods that can be locally produced, encourage entrepreneurship in the domain of Agriculture.To reminds that Agriculture is one of the major economic boosters that employ 2/4 of the population especially in rural areas hence contributing at improving the living conditions of citizens and Agricultural input such as Cocoa is one of Cameroon's main product exported to the world market that contributes at boosting the state budgets. According to UBIAFCOOP production Manager, coming to SIARC 2024 was to learn more about packaging and marketing of her products Online" Nowadays online marketing favours rapid communication and selling opportunities ". As emphasize in the theme for this year celebration ,the government of Cameroon aims at promoting digitalisation as a means to promote,sell , and protects Artisanal products for the economic benefits of the producers. Traders, business people and entrepreneurs should attend seminars ,fairs and workshops that will help them be more aware about their different sectors of activities to gain more money, and more knowledge.
