The Ceremony was  chaired by the Minister of Basic Education Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, on October 8,2024 , in presence of the Minister of Secondary Education, Nalova Lyonga, and stakeholders in the domain of education.                   

The implementation of Cameroon's inclusive education policy for the 2024-2028 period is estimated at approximately 100 billion Cfa Francs. Targeting 2028 , 25% or more of persons with disabilities will enjoy fair and quality educational opportunities, professional development and skills training in a secured, accessible and comfortable environment. The funding will be provided by the Public Authorities and Decentralized Territorial Communities to the tune of 65% while development partners will contribute 35%.The plan involves building 1289 educational facilities for primary and secondary schools,and training 8075 educators and instructors to support inclusive education in the country.This initiative, is part of the objectives of the Head of State President Paul Biya, to promote education , facilitate its access to every Cameroonian, and contribute to the wellbeing of the population .
