This information was confirmed during a visit by Cameroonian Parliamentarians to the site . According to Okie Johnson Ndoh , The General Manager of the Hydrocarbon Price Stabilization Fund , the infrastructure will be delivered before the end of 2024.The North-West region loses Cfa 2million daily due to the cost of transportating gas cylinders from Bafoussam storage centre to the region, affecting it's purchasing power that's taking a hit, with a 12,5kg gas cylinder being sold for cfa 9,000 instead of cfa 6,500 or even Cfa 15,000 on crisis day, according to local authorities.To facilitate the replenishment of household supplies, Hydrocarbon Price Stabilization Fund has decided to build this filling center for a total amount of over Cfa 5billion ,to facilitate the supply of domestic gas to the city of Bamenda and its surroundings .In few months , populations in the North-West region will be able to acquire domestic gas at a fair price and without fear of shortages .
