Dernière mise à jours il y'a 1 moisOil revenues are expected to account for 14,6% of total forecasted revenue, according to the 2025-2027 Economic and Budgetary Programming Document.
Cameroon's 2025-2027 Economic and Budgetary Programming Document outlines an optimistic oil revenue forecast ,with expected earning of 828,3 billion Cfa Francs in 2025 ,this represent an increase estimated at 26,7 billion cfa francs from the revised 2024 estimate of 801,6 billion Cfa Francs, reflecting positive prospects for the country's oil sector. For the 2024 financial year , the National Hydrocarbons Corporation, Cameroon's state -owned entity responsible for oil and gas exploration and exploitation is expected to pay a total of 612,2 billion Cfa Francs into the public treasury, while the oil company tax would amount to 197,3 billion Cfa Francs.Despite the goal , Cameroon's oil revenue for Q1 2024 fell short ,reaching only 167,4 billion Cfa francs .The downturn in oil revenue collection is mainly due to the royalty payments of the National Hydrocarbons Corporation, totalling 127,4 billion cfa francs . Nevertheless, the boom in Cameroon's oil receipt is expected to be fleeting. Gov't forecasts indicate that, oil revenue will decrease to 612,5 billion CFA Francs in 2026 ,then 580,6 billion in 2027 , driven by declining gas production and prices, and the ongoing downward trend in global oil costs.
