Sport betting market is booming  in Africa with  the arrival of global giants sports betting companies, which according to a report by Bloomberg, morethan CFA 1500 Billion have been spend by African youths in this domain.                                          

 According to expert in sports betting, Africa is considered as a potential market raison due to its Younger population that are becoming More and more connected to internet nowadays.According to Bloomberg, the values of online betting on the African continent has reached €2,6 billion between 2013 and 2023 . The high increase of youths being interested in online betting is a major worry due to the fact that African youths have fallen into this addiction Which is representing a potential danger to the society and to the individuals. Nowadays youths prefers to spend their income on betting with the hope of a big win which result to an increase of laziness in many youths who turns to be more focused on easy means of getting money, to a greater extend many youths engage in sports betting goes more into contact with drugs consumption, others turn up to rubbery activities to have money for their betting, to another extend sport betting have a negative impact on academics.According to the Journal of Digital education technology, sport betting in Ghana have affected negatively the academic achievements of youths engage in the domain.The high increase of youths being interested in online betting can be attributed to the economic situation of some African countries: high living costs, a high level of unemployed youths , pushing youths to be interested in activities such as According to expert over 60 million Africans are engaged in online gambling ( women,men, youths ) spending around 3 million per day .The betting industry in Africa like any other industry comes with its sets of pros( financial assistance and sponsorship to football clubs )and cons ( insecurity, drugs consumption) .
