According to the Minister, 1,700 remote areas have been identified in the country, with 183 already connected in 2022.The government of Burkina Faso committed 6.2 billion to make this possible.Based on the Minister's data , mobile service coverage in Burkina Faso stands at 85% , while 3G internet covers 64% and 4G internet covers 46% . This initiative according to the government of Burkina Faso, aligns with the goal to extend telecommunication coverage, considering these services a right for citizens . The regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Posts in Burkina Faso reported 27.26 million mobile subscription as of March 31,2024 with a penetration rate of 116,45% and the total number of mobile internet subscriptions is 18.67million covering 79.78% of the population.To remind that,  internet services in a country helps its  population by  providing knowledge and surplus information about services , allow online payments and digital marketing  , facilitate online Banking
