Gabon : Government Launches 85 Billion CFA Franc Bond Issue on the Regional Financial Market

Named EOG 2026 Multi-Tranche Bond, this issue aims to raise 85 billion CFA francs to finance various development projects.

The operation was officially open to investors from February 25 to May 25, 2026, and was structured to offer maximum flexibility to subscribers. Two distinct investment options are available: Tranche A with a 3-year maturity offering an attractive net annual interest rate of 6%, and Tranche B with a 4-year maturity offering a slightly higher net annual interest rate of 6.5%.
The management of this operation is entrusted to a consortium led by Emrald Securities Services Bourse SA (ESS BOURSE), which is designated as the Lead Arranger. This brokerage firm, regulated by the Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (COSUMAF), benefits from the support of CCA BOURSE as Co-Arranger, as well as a regional underwriting syndicate.
