This meeting in presence of the government authority Alamine Ousmane Mey and all the stakeholders has permitted to examine the level of the global evolution of the activities of the projects, evaluate the frame work of working plans and of the 2024 budget,examine new documents related in the ammelioration of the governance and performance on the project . The project execution level is estimated at 26 % and the level of finance is estimated at 23% . Viva - Logone Project is a cooperation between Cameroon and the World Bank put in place since November 2022 for a period of 7 year will a total budget estimated at CFA 124 billion which main objective is to provide irritation and durable drainage structures and ammeliorate agricultural products and productivity. The project is a reflection of the strong determination of the government participation in the rural sector aimed at significantly boosting rice production, all by reinforcing the resilience of the population in the zone of intervention notably in the Mayo Danay Division.This project goes inline  with the vision of President Paul Biya  to develop and boost  the Agricultural sector  in Cameroon  which is among the main economic contributor in ammeliorating the living conditions of the population and increase State wallets .
