This advancement in the project will permit to guarantee food security and to the revenues of local producers that is to considerably increase the production of rice by making considerable reduction in the level of importation of the agricultural product that impact negatively on the economic balance of the country.Another significant progress of this project,is the paraphrasing of conventions of partnership with 5 financial institution but also the framework of the project with 13 supplies. The viva -Benoue aims at distribution durable services of irrigation and drainage,In addition it aims at ammeliorating  the production agriculture in the irrigated areas of the Benoue valley(North Region) with the rehabilitation of approximately 10000 hectares of Hydroagricultural perimeters.To adds to the implementation of a system of advance warning and the assistance of small farmers. Schedule for a duration of six years still June 30 ,2027 this project tags approximately 26000   direct beneficiary compose of farmers of both sex proprietors or non of farming land with 36% of women out of the beneficiary with almost 10000 indirect beneficiaries mainly made up of families.The modalities of selection requires that farmers should practice agricultural activities in the perimeters irrigutated along the river . According to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy " the Activities of the Viva-Benoue project has generated still date a level of disbursements of 23,45% for a global level of execution of 8,28% and calls on the different actors to accelerate the level of execution of activities relatively to the rehabilitation of hygroagricoles.The project is estimated at a total budget of cfa 117,8billion and the financial accord of this project with the World Bank dates back to October 12,2011.
