Made In Cameroon : Trade Minister Guarantees New Stock Exchange To Exhibit Cameroonian Outputs In China.

The Minister of Trade,has entered into collaboration with the Shanghai cooperation organisation and Qingdao international agricultural products exhibition and Trade center to display Cameroon's agricultural outputs in China , in order to boost the agricultural sector in Cameroon. This strategy by Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, is part of the initiative ''From farm to table ", which aims to display Cameroonian agricultural products in China while advertising the Made in Cameroon name . During his visit, the Minister of Trade emphasized that , the project aligns with the vision of the Head of State President Paul Biya, to unfold new markets and release new economic possibilities for Cameroon and enhance the country's international trade presence with Qingdao center ,which is a main center for agricultural trade in Asia . This initiative according to the Minster of Trade, will enable the creation of a complete value chain from production to market : from Cameroon farm to Chinese market/consumers. China was among Cameroon's biggest trade partner in 2023 , according to the National institute of statistics. Cameroon exported approximately 936,100 tonnes of goods to China estimated at 231.8 billion fcfa , an increased of approximately 30% compared to 2022.
