Food and Agricultural Organisation:To Invest Approximately Cfa 1 Billion In Central Africa.

This amount was made known on July 4,2024 in Douala during a meeting aimed at reinforcing land governance and reducing Conflict resulting from transhumance borders between Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic.

The aim of this project is to put ahead , reinforce the process of inclusive land reforms ,that will permit and share common ideas to reduce this conflict .In the same light FAOs contribution aims at reinforcing the competences of local and national actors of the 3 countries , to an extend contributing in fighting against farming in Central Africa,project and put ahead women and children in what concerns their inclusive rights .This project by FAO will be put into practices with other regional projects: An assiastance programme for the regulation of transhumanism cross-border in Central Africa,put into practices and support farming system in Central Africa to atteint its objectives of import - substitution with the long-term vision of eradicating poverty by boosting agriculture which is one of the drivers of economic growth and development in the said zones.Overall FAO objectives taken during the meeting in the Economic capital(Douala) is to promote durable, inclusive and resilient land governance in Central Africa.
