According to government officials, Agriculture is considered as the main drive of the countries economy that contributes at 18% to the country Gross Domestic Product and being the first employer with approximately 30% ,a sector that requires long-term financial assistance to support this sector of activity meanly carried out by the population in rural areas.To this effect Bange Bank Cameroon has expressed its satisfaction during the 4th edition of the Cameroon investment Forum that held in Douala to  financially assist and support producers in their long, medium and short term by creating an agricultural banking segment that will provide loans to producers, High-Tech agricultural equipment and granting formation on systems of farming.Bange Bank Cameroon (BBC) aims at accompanying woman and youths in agricultural sector mainly in rural areas.The Regional Bank stands for the first bank in Cameroon to officially launched an Agricultural branch innita banking system dedicated only to producers and startup projects in the Agric-domain to help them with financial loans to boost up production and productivity.same as the Regional Bank, The Cameroon medium and small size enterprise bank as shown interest in Cameroon by opening a ticket office of nearly cfa 200million to assist and support the agricultural sector in Cameroon, meanly that of Banana that represents 16% of revenues of in the rural areas in Cameroon and one of Cameroon's leading exports input in the world market. In may 2024 , the Regional Bank of Cameroon has signed a convention with the state to grant to producers 10 to 250 million of loans,just like the Islamic Bank of Development that granted $53,71 million for agriculture in the south -west region .This implication in Agriculture by Bange Bank Cameroon and other financial institution demonstrates the strong the will this sector of activity has to contribute to the economic development of Country and assist the government in this ongoing moves to support this sector in Cameroon.
