The aim of this workshop is to prepare a positive mind set on sexuality, gender voilence and Contact with the population ,to Agents when deployed on ground to avoid unpleasant circumstances . Initiated in 2018 and officially launched in 2023 in Cameroon by the Minister of Energy Gaston Eloundou Essomba ,The Rural Electrification is a project financed up to cfa 85billion by the World Bank with the objectives of supplying approximately 417 localities and the achievement of almost 120,000 connection extending to 160,000 connection in 2025.With the up-coming of several electrification projects country-wide in choosen regions,many localities will witness a significant deployment of many workers in those localities hencefort this workshop aimed at training agents on the way to enter into contact with the rural people's,educate the villagers on the importance of energy and some tacts to avoid electricity damages ,and most importantly avoid anyform of sexual behaviour by the agents on ground. According to the administrative authorities of PERACE, these agents have the obligation to execute their mission with tacts taking into consideration the code of ethics and professionalism reminding  the participants that any act out of their code of ethics is severely punished. The Sensibilisation workshop overall had the mission to reminds the agent of their assignment when deployed on ground that is decentralised elecfrication in the country, reinforce the capacity of institutions of the energy sector and project management,and supply electricity country-wide and increase by 5% the level of national acess of electricity by June 2025,with a focus on the North-West,East, Far-North, South-west.The PERACE projects Inline with the Government National development Strategy 2030 aims at creating a descent and healty environment in the rural areas , given that electricity and energy Supply contribute in one way or the other to enhance economic development.
