Cameroon as the main driver of prices in the Cemac zone contributed 57points to the region's inflation ,with an inflation rate of 6.6% in Q1 2024. Beac reports that Cameroon account for 40% of the industrial fabric of the Cemac Zone ,Cameroon leads inflation rank top as of the end of march 2024 followed by chad with 20.4points up from 14.9 points in December 2023, Congo with 9.1 points a decrease from 10.2 points ,Equatorial Guinea 4.8 points up from 4.2 points ,Gabon 3.6 pointsa decrease from 4.0points and Central African Republic 0.0 points down from 1.6 points .
