Decentralisation : More Than CFa 20Billions Transfer To The Municipalities Of The Far-North Region Between 2018 and 2024.

This amount is made known by the Governor of the Far North region Midjiyawa Bakary during a Regional workshop organised on July 18, 2024 in Maroua.

The amount of 20billion 582million CFa was allocated to the Municipalities in the Far North region for infrastructural development thats is in detail, 1billion 100million CFa for the regional council and 19billion 482million CFa for the Municipalities.      Despite this envelope allocated to the Municipalities,some projects are still pending, according to the governor,and highlights some factors responsible for this work delay: The absence of appropriate human resources to conduct the projects,the non -respect of date allocated for the project delivery, and the non-communication of the level of the project advancement.This workshop that held from July 18 to 19 brought together administrative authorities,Municipal Magistrates and the decision-makers of the Mindevel,Minepat, and Mintp in order to fix the milestones and especially to prioritize the interventions for an efficient programming of the fiscal year 2025 in this region where the global linear is 2195525km.The workshop according to the administrative authorities of the locality was a situable opportunity to propose and find adequate solutions to this problems and to collect interventions needed for the 2025 budget preparation.Governor Midjiyawa Bakary invites all the participants to take advantages of this financial opportunity that is part of the perspectives of the global infrastructural development of roads in the country.
