The cocoa campaign 2024-2025  that will be launched on August 8 in the south Region precisely in Mvengué locality falls within a favourable context marked by the country's position as a reference in terms of quality and falls amongst the countries in the domain higher paid.This season will take place in an advantageous setting, will follow on the previous campaign which was marked by an unprecedented rise in prices .The Minister of Trade invites all the nations principal actors in the domain of Cocoa to put in more efforts for the continuous ammelioration of the quality and image of Cameroon's Cocoa at the international market where Cameroon's Cocoa beans is among the best in the world chocolate industries, overall for the profits of all value chains links in the Although Agriculture in Cameroon is still facing a number of challenges including Climate changes , the protection of the environment,Cocoa has  a special place in Cameroon's economy: equates to approximately 600,000 hectares under cultivation , 2 million jobs fighting against unemployment, it is one of the country's  most shipped products thus increasing the country's Gross Domestic Products and the States wallets. The government aims at boosting cocoa production : increase the quality, quantity by 2030 that can be able to respond to national and international demands projecting Cameroon for a long-term in the world market as one of the reference country in terms of Cocoa processing, production and marketing.
