The Ministry of SMEs: Launches The 4th Edition Of Proto -Fund Support 2024.

This was during a press conference chaired by the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts Achille Bassileken III in presence of the General Manager of Small Medium-sized Enterprises Promotion Agency Jean -Marie Louis.This 4th edition of Proto-fund according to Min of SMEs is to answer the challenges of supporting the creation of innovative businessess in the sector of Agriculture, Health, Education Industry, Technology, promote entreneurship and creat more links between stakeholders in the domain -innovators-researches and Start-ups. Opened to participants especially youths in SMEs , candidates should be able to present their business ideas in all the sectors of activities inline with the National Development Strategy aimed at achieving emergency in 2025 as prescribed by the Head of State PR Paul Biya,remember that SMEs contributes to the country's economy by employing 2/ 4 of population according to statistics and contributing at ammeliorating the living conditions of atleast 50% of the population and contributing at implementing the policy of import-substitution prescrib the government rendering the population more productive.The plateform for the application of the 4th edition will be opened from August 5 to September 10 ,2024 done online and inpresence conducted by international and national experts . The aim of this initiative aim at using the country's existing resources, local potential in terms of economy to develop new businessess to render the population more productive , it has been revealed that through the Proto-fund morethan Cfa 200million has already been offered to innovators for the 3 last editions and enable the innovations of more than 50 innovative businessess in various sectors.
