Cemac zone : Cameroon's Crude Oil Production Forecast To Drop 11,4%.

This projected drop would bring Cameroon's oil production down by 11,4% over three years (2022-2024) . Following this decline in oil production, Cameroon's share of crude oil output in the Cemac zone is expected to decrease to 8% in 2024 , down from 9% in 2022 according to the Central Bank's report. With estimated respective shares of 33% , 28% and 19% of sub-regional production ,Congo ,Gabon and Chad are expected to remain the top oil- producing countries in the Cemac region in 2024 , these countries , will significantly surpass Equatorial Guinea, whose production is forecast to increase by nearly 18% to 4.6 million tonnes in 2024 following a contraction in 2023 .
