The project Will receive complete financing through a budget support grant from the World Bank.

The envelope will finance the conception, procurement and installation of electrical infrastructure and equipment for power substations in Douala, Dibamba, Dibombari and Kribi . The objectives of this project is to upgrade and reinforce electrical infrastructure, enhancing the transmission capacity to provide a more dependable and efficient electricity supply. This project, scheduled to run for 1 year is a timely response to the severe electrical grid disruptions that recently impacted the entire country.Specifically the project will be split into 7 components: Lot 1 : supply and installation of equipment in Douala's 3 district power substations , Lot 2: Douala's 4th district and Dibombari (Bekoko ), Lot 3 : Douala's 4th district and Dibombari (Bonaberi ), Lot 4 : Douala's 1st district, Lot 5: supply and installation of equipment in Kribi city power substations, Lot 6: Dibamba district, and Lot 7 : Additional works in Douala's 3rd district power substations.
