BANKING AND FINANCE: Islamic Bank of Development To Fund 145km Road Projects In Cameroon

This announcement made by the Ministry of Public Work on July 8 2024 , is a crucial initiative for enhancing regional connectivity and economic development and terminating the national highway 15.This project divided into 2 segments will be finance by the IsDB at Cfa 108,314billion ,with the Cameroonian government contributing cfa 12,171bn.The IsDB mission ongoing in Cameroon still july 13 apart from financing the 145km road project aims at exploring Financing opportunities for new projects from 2025-2027 ,including the financing of the Douala-Bafoussam and Douala -yaound reconstruction projects and the Bafang - Nkondjock road construction projects.The 145km road project will go from Ngatt-Febadi-Mambal-Tekel 684km and Tekel-lewa -Louga-likok 76.2km .All this projects frame works are inline with the Road Projects policies adapted by the government.
