The company that operates since January 2024, with an approximately 50% of its total capacity of 650,000bpd per day has the aim of commencing the production of petrol as from August 2024 ,that will enable the company to increase its production capacity reaching 85% that is a total of 550,000 bpd.Due to the insufficient cargo delivered to the company,the refinery is up large to turn toward the exportation of raw resources.The refinery whose construction necessitated an investments of 20billion USD .In May 2024 the Dangote refinary had an accord of supply with the french group Total Energies ,After a call to investment to identify capable investors that can provide 2millions of barells by months for 1year starting july 2024. Dangote Refinery projects in the upcoming years to supply African countries and established it self as a reference in Africa.
