Dernière mise à jours il y'a 1 heures

The vast rehabilitation project for the section connecting the Bas de la Falaise to the Keroua Bridge is entering an active deployment phase. Under the leadership of the firm China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd (CHEC), the project is currently focused on the finalization of execution studies and the installation of logistical bases. As of April 18, 2026, preliminary works demonstrate sustained mobilization, aiming to secure this essential transport corridor for the fluidity of national economic exchanges.

Technical rigor forms the foundation of this initial phase. At the Man quarry site, experts are currently conducting in-depth rock analyses to guarantee the quality of construction materials. Simultaneously, the development of technical dossiers is progressing according to schedule, with execution plans transmitted at the beginning of April. This attention to geological and structural details ensures optimal durability for an infrastructure subjected to significant geographical constraints.

The human and material deployment along the route is already significant. With 70 professionals mobilized, the majority of whom are skilled workers, the construction site is coming to life. The construction of the base camp in Mbe is nearing completion following the finalization of topographical surveys and necessary earthworks. The foundations for the technical buildings are now finished, giving way to the elevation of the structures. This methodical organization allows for the creation of an efficient working ecosystem capable of sustaining the pace of the upcoming heavy construction works.

The impact of a high-performance road network on Africa's progress is fundamental. By modernizing this critical segment, the country strengthens user safety and reduces logistical costs for economic operators. Traffic fluidity on this axis is a determining parameter for the integration of local and regional markets. Every meter of rehabilitated roadway and every consolidated engineering structure participates in building a more resilient economy. The rigor displayed in this launch phase guarantees execution in line with international quality standards. Every successfully completed step brings the road network closer to its full yield potential.
