Health : Cameroon Health Minister , Present The Assessment Of The Programme Universal Health Coverage To The Public.
Dernière mise à jours il y'a 4 moisThe Minister of Public Health,Dr Manaouda Malachie has made known to the Cameroonian public thé assessment of the Universal Health Coverage during a press conference organised at the Headquarters of the National Technical cell of UHC/CSU.

According to Minsante, the access to adequate health in Cameroon remains a challenge especially in rural areas and vulnerable communities, with almost 100 million People pushed into poverty therefore in order to guarantee Cameroonians access to high quality medical treatment while lowering household health costs the Head of State President Paul Biya in 2015 initiated this programme with the target beneficiaries : pregnant women,newborn babies,childrens age 0 to 5 , and people living with Hiv ,tubercoloses and patient under dialysis. The objectives of the press conference by Minsante was to give in details the assessment of this projects which goes as follows: 642090 childrens received free consultation, 346395 pregnant women did their prenatal consultation still birth spending FCFA 6000 , 140416 pregnant women had free delivery charges, 1246 people under dialyse did their 2 seance of dialysis per week by spending FCFA 15000 for the year instead of FCFA 520000 . Through out this initiative the Head of State and actors in the domain of health are committed to attain the goal of providing better living conditions to the population as registered in the National Development Strategy 30.
