BEAC: Launches A Series Of Three Securities Issuances.

The Bank's First issuance, summing Cfa 50 billion was launched on july 8, 2024 , which consist of 28-days bond with a 3.5 yield . The next 2 issuances to be launched on July 15,2024 amounts to 50 billion each respectively, consist of a 14 days maturity and yield of 2.5%.The Central Bank aims at draining liquidity from the bank,which result are still pending.Beac seeks to withdraw Cfa 50billion from banks through this 2.5% yield whereas credit institution offers only cfa 18billion , Additionally on July 2 ,2024 in a liquidi injection operation totalling to cfa 165 billion .BEAC has expressed its needs of cfa 385billion projecting a subscription rate of over 23.3%, a possiblity that these new bonds might be avoided again by banks.
