With the support of the World Health Organisation, UNICEF , The World Bank, Mali has launched its National Digital Health Strategic Plan for 2024-2025.
Mali aims to improve access to primary health care services at an estimated cost of $35 According to Malian authorities,this initiative is a crucial lever for modernizing the health care system and meeting population needs .This initiative,comes shortly after the gouvernment unveiled its 2024-2028 roadmap.The implementation of telemedicine services and the modernization of health care infrastructure and equipment are other key components of the national digital health strategic plan 2024-2028. According to stakeholders, implementing this project will require tracking the challenge of interoperability among health transformation systems.Currently systems are often vertical and linked to specific health programs. The document recommend centralizing data to facilitate secure access to medical records.
